This post is sponsored by DASANI but as always, all opinions are my own, and I’m so thankful they invited me to participate and share this with you today.
The answer wasn’t too far off from my initial response-for me relationships are the key. But more specifically, I’m so grateful for the amazing relationships I’ve been able to grow through my blogging journey.
I began my blog as a pregnant military wife struggling to take care of two preschoolers while my husband was deployed for a year. This little blog brought me into a world of some of the most creative, talented, kind, and compassionate women I’ve ever met. This past weekend at Haven Conference just cemented in my mind how blessed I am for these friendships.
I sat at dinner in the hotel restaurant and mentioned to a new acquaintance how my son flooded our house almost two years ago and the entire table exploded in laughter “we remember that,” “oh my goodness has it really been two years since that happened?” These women have traversed the last three years with me in many ways more intimately than those that I may have called a neighbor. They’ve traveled with me through multiple moves and homes thanks to our transient military life. They’ve supported me when life got overwhelming and I needed a break, they’ve helped me to grow as a blogger and inspired me creatively. They are who make me sparkle.
I encourage you all to enter and share what makes you sparkle, I’ll be checking the hashtag to see your answers!
