Description
Easy Slow Cooker Greek Leg of Lamb in the Slow Cooker – fall off the bone tender lamb with perfectly roasted lemon potatoes all made in the crock pot!

- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 bone-in leg of lamb
- 4–5 medium potatoes, chopped into 1–2” pieces
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic, divided (about 2 cloves)
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano, more to taste
- 1 cup white wine (substitute chicken stock if desired)
- 1/2 lemon
Instructions
- Heat oil over medium high heat in a large skillet and sear the lamb on all sides, about 3 minutes per side. Meanwhile add half of garlic and the potatoes to the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Place lamb over potatoes and sprinkle with oregano and place remaining garlic over top.
- Pour wine over potatoes and lamb.
- Cover and cook on low 6-8 hours or high 5-6 hours.
- Squeeze lemon over potatoes just before serving and season to taste with extra oregano if desired.

- choose an acidic wine such as Sauvignon Blanc or Pino Grigio
- if using fresh oregano, double the amount
