Last Christmas I made granola packaged in pretty mason jars for many friends and relatives. This past weekend we took a quick trip to Virginia and while we were there the boy’s godfather nonchalantly gave me my empty jar back with a not-so-subtle hint that he would like it refilled!
Since they were generous enough to allow us to invade their home with the three boys and 100 pound dog I thought the least I could do was whip them up another batch of granola as a thank you. And of course, I wanted to share the recipe with you as well:
It is simple but delicious served with yogurt, milk, or oatmeal. You can substitute the nuts and dried fruit for whatever your particular tastes are. I hope you enjoy and please let me know if you try it!
