Y’all-I need to have a life moment here with you…I’m writing this post from a hotel room in Georgia as the winds are howling and rain is pouring. Our family was under mandatory evacuation last weekend in preparation for Hurricane Irma so we packed up our three boys and headed west, not realizing that Irma was going to head west as well. So despite our best efforts we ended up still in the midst of the storm-which has thankfully weakened to a Tropical Storm by this point. We’re watching the Savannah area closely (where we just bought a home and moved two months ago) and hope that our new home is intact and undamaged when we are allowed to return.

So all that to say that there aren’t any recipes to share today-and probably won’t be this week and possibly next. There is no decorating inspiration because our belongings that arrived from England last week are still sitting in boxes that have been moved from the ground in case of floods. What I can give to you from this little hotel room in the storm is some free printables I made to take my mind off the weather. I am planning on using the “gather” one myself on my mantel this fall but until I can get home and decorate to share-they are here for you. Simply click on the picture below to download the file to print.

Due to the misbehavior of a few I have to be clear on my terms of use: these printables are for personal use only. Please do not resell or print and sell physical copies of my work. This violates my terms of service. Feel free to share the link to this blog post so that others may download their own printables directly from my site.

Hopefully I’ll have some better news later this week!

  1. Love these printables….thank you! Can the words be printed on portrait style? When printing, I can switch but the word changed with the print style.

    1. Hi Kim, the only way I was able to print it in portrait on my computer was to change the orientation in the printer settings, then unclick “autorotate” and click “scale to fit” then print. I am on a Macbook so I don’t know if your printer has the same settings available but thought it could help you troubleshoot even if it didn’t. I will keep in mind next time I make printables to offer both orientations, thanks for the feedback! Melissa
