Candy Corn Whoopie Pies

Candy corn inspired sweet dessert!



  1. Preheat oven to 325
  2. Spray whoopie pie pan with nonstick spray
  3. Prepare white cake mix according to package instructions
  4. Separate cake mix into two bowls, add food coloring to one bowl to achieve a vibrant yellow
  5. Drop cake mix by heaping tablespoons into whoopie pie pan
  6. Bake 10-12 minutes until done, try not to let cakes brown
  7. Let sit in pan 3 minutes then trasnfer to cooling rack
  8. Add concentrated food coloring to frosting and mix well until desired color is acheived
  9. Once cakes are cool assemble whoopie pies with yellow cake on bottom, orange frosting in the middle, and top with a white cake.
