I’ve been so excited to share my autumn mantel with you! I am in love with how it turned out and it’s pretty different from what I’ve done in the past (see those mantels here).
My inspiration for this mantel came from these two lanterns I found at Kirkland’s-I fell in love with them and as soon as I saw them I knew that they would look perfect with the white baby boo pumpkins I get every year!
The botanicals are really different from what I’ve done in years past-I usually stay with the warmer colors normally associated with autumn but the lanterns reminded me of the colors in a dried bouquet of hydrangea and eucalyptus I had in the house and I found the other plants in the floral section of my grocery store and thought they were the perfect compliment.
I was lucky enough to find a blue pumpkin to tie it all together as well-I may or may not have near tackled the workers unloading the pumpkin truck when I saw this bad boy!
Elsewhere in the house I’ve added a few touches of fall too-who can resist a chevron burlap pumpkin? This is probably my favorite fall decor I’ve found this year!
I also couldn’t pass up this blinged out autumn pillow. It’s a great reminder throughout the day when I see it to stop and be thankful for all of the blessings I have!
In the dining room I simply added stacks of white pumpkins to the collection of white objects on our server. Keeping it simple!
And as usual I keep the color in the schoolroom-which I haven’t shown off yet since we moved the rooms around so you’ll have to keep waiting until I can get it in order to share here! (I think I have boxwood in every room-this little trio is another favorite find from Kirkland’s and a must-have at such a great price!)
