I love giving homemade Christmas gifts-it’s a great way to not only save money but also to put thought into your gifts. Sometimes, though, I think homemade Christmas gifts get a bad rap. DIY gifts don’t have to be boring or child-like. You can make your own gifts without breaking the bank or channeling Martha Stewart while still impressing your loved ones with your thoughtfulness, usefulness, and ingenuity!
Here are five of my favorite DIY Christmas gifts that anyone would love to receive this holiday season!
This DIY Citrus Salt Scrub gift is perfect for any ladies on your list, and oh so easy to make. In five minutes you can have a gift that’s perfectly pampering and easy on the budget! For the full tutorial, click the picture!
Do you have any foodies on your Christmas list? This homemade limoncello is the perfect gift for the gourmets in your life-it also makes a wonderful hostess gift for all of the holiday parties on your calendar! This gift does have a 10 day lead time so be sure to prepare ahead of time! For the full tutorial, click the picture!
Another easy gift idea for the lovely ladies on your holiday list are these very easy to make lavender sachets. The fabric really makes these sachets extra special so be on the lookout for remnants of linen to use for this project. For the full tutorial, click the picture!
This homemade vanilla extract is another easy to make gift but does require some planning ahead! Be sure to start your batches early so you’re prepared for gift-giving later in the season! For the full tutorial, click the picture!
A perfect hostess gift and super fast to prepare, this simmering pot recipe in a jar is the perfect mix of holiday scents and can be reused numerous times. For the full tutorial, click the picture!
I hope you love these five homemade gift ideas-remember when preparing your homemade gifts that presentation counts! Tying a pretty ribbon around a mason jar is a finishing touch that really takes your gift to the next level! Take the extra time when making your gifts to add those finishing touches!

These look wonderful. I’m thinking of making homemade fits for the fist time this year as I’ve just become a SAHM. In fact I’m planning one at the moment (drawing up patterns etc) for one for my daughter. I’m going to make her a doll just a little it smaller than her like a rag doll. I thought if I make her all my daughters nice clothes that she can no longer fit into can be worn by the doll and my little one can dress and undress her (she’s going through that phase at the moment) which will help her learn buttons, zips, hook and eyes etc. I really like the thought of her havin something that’s unique to her that I’ve made.

I truly love your blog.. Excellent colors & theme. Did you make this
site yourself? Please reply back as I’m attempting to create
my very own site and would like to learn where you got this from or just what the theme is
called. Appreciate it!
