Who doesn’t like tacos? I know I get a request for them at least once a week from my family!

While I love tacos myself serving them to my family usually ended up in a big mess. My three boys are all under 10 and most of their taco fillings ended up on their plates pretty much with their first bite! I’ve found a solution though-Oven Baked Soft Tacos!

Why I love this recipe

By baking the tacos quickly before serving the cheese melts and holds the taco filling together in the tortilla and makes for mess-free eating! I also love the slight crisp baking gives to soft flour tortillas.

Ingredients

  • ground beef
  • taco seasoning
  • refried beans
  • black beans
  • shredded Mexican blend cheese or cheddar cheese
  • flour tortillas
  • toppings of your choice: pico de gallo, avocado, shredded lettuce, sour cream, green onion, etc
