She’ll unload her backpack and lunchbox and leave her shoes and coat in a pile on the floor. Just imagine how bad it was during the winter months, when she’d have to unbundle from all her cold weather clothes too! I was done asking her to pick everything up and put it away and I was tired of doing it for her. I finally realized that she wasn’t doing it intentionally to drive me nuts, but her things didn’t really have a designated “home.”
I knew this problem would be solved when I saw this Easy Kids’ Coat Rack from HGTV on Pinterest. I love that it is kid sized! I feel a little embarrassed to admit how long it took me from the time I pinned this project to the time I completed it, but better late than never, right?!
Using a pencil, make marks on the post where each coat hook should be attached. TIP: I used a ruler just to make sure they were all level.
