More and more lately I am realizing that when it comes to food, simple is better. Sometimes you can take a few simple ingredients and combine them to make magic. Recently I came across The Jam Stand which does just that…started by two best friends, The Jam Stand bills itself as “Brooklyn’s Happiest Food Company.” They combine unique flavors of jam and thrive on showing people that packaged food doesn’t have to mean processed food-how cool is that?
I recently ordered their Cherry Ginger Jam after learning about their recent partnership with Triscuit crackers. I love Tricuit crackers-where else can you find crackers in the store with only three ingredients? Love it! Tricuit is supporting the “Makers” out there who strive to craft more from simplicity.
As a self employed person whose profession is to be creative I’m head over heels in love with this initiative so you can see why I had to order the jam to support fellow Makers! As a bonus, Cherry Ginger Jam, created exclusively for the partnership with Triscuit, was delivered with a box of Triscuit crackers-it made it even easier to make a tasty snack once it arrived!
Y’all, the jam is fantastic! It’s such a rich sweet flavor that is perfectly balanced by the hint of ginger. It’s light years beyond anything I’ve purchased in a store as far as flavor complexity! I paired my Tricuit crackers with the jam and a little bit of mozzerella cheese as well as a mint garnish to balance out the fruit. It was a delicious snack-beautiful, simple flavors combined to make perfection!
Be sure to visit Tricuit’s Pinterest page to learn more about the Makers of More campaign and see the other small business craftsmen that Tricuit is supporting-I’ve discovered some amazing and talented new artisan food companies through this initiative and love supporting small creative businesses!
Triscuit believes in simple things coming together to create something more. Whether it’s just three ingredients on a Triscuit or about life, we believe that you (and Triscuit) are “Makers of More”.
