How to Reheat Bacon

Choose your method based on the best way to get your desired outcome. There are several different ways to reheat bacon, each with simple steps, and each of them has a slightly different result.

If you like crispy bacon, you can use the air fryer for a really simple way to get that crispy texture. If you prefer your bacon strips to be a little less crispy and more chewy, use the stove top or oven method.

The microwave will be the easiest way to reheat your bacon, but of the different methods, this one might give you the least desirable results.

Reheat Bacon in the Oven

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Line a baking tray with parchment paper or aluminum foil. 
  3. Place the bacon on the baking sheet in a single layer, making sure to leave space between the pieces. 
  4. Bake for 8-12 minutes or until heated through and desired crispiness is reached. 

Reheat Bacon in the Microwave

  1. Place the bacon pieces on a microwave-safe paper towel-lined plate. 
  2. Cover the bacon with a paper towel to prevent splatters and absorb moisture. 
  3. Microwave bacon on high heat for 15-30 seconds per strip or just until warm and slightly crispy. 

Reheat Bacon on the Stovetop

  1. Heat a small or medium frying pan over medium heat for a few minutes. 
  2. Place the bacon in the skillet with some space between each strip. 
  3. Heat for 1 to 2 minutes per side or until heated through and slightly crispy. 

Reheat Bacon in the Toaster Oven

  1. Preheat your toaster oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. 
  2. Line an oven-proof plate with parchment paper or aluminum foil. 
  3. Place the bacon on the plate with some space between each strip. 
  4. Bake for 8-12 minutes or until heated through and desired crispiness is reached.

Reheat Bacon in the Air Fryer

  1. Place the strips of bacon on the air fryer basket. 
  2. Heat for 3 to 5 minutes at 375 degrees Fahrenheit or until heated through and slightly crispy.
  3. If you have a lot of bacon to reheat, do it a few pieces at a time so they are all in a single layer.
