Honey Lime Fruit Salad

honey lime fruit salad
When I start unpacking my groceries from the grocery store or latest haul from the farmer’s market I’m usually bombarded my my three boys rooting through my bags in search of their favorite treat-strawberries! The three of them can easily eat a pound of strawberries a day if left to their own devices so you can imagine that this time of year, when strawberries get plentiful, is a welcome break for my budget!

Lately I’ve been making a lot of fruit salads to encourage them try new types of fruit and stretch the strawberry inventory! While playing with different combinations of fruit I’ve also been having fun experimenting with dressings.  If you’ve never tried dressing for your fruit salad you’re in for a treat!  This one is my current favorite and it’s so easy but really adds and special something to compliment the fruit.  It’s perfect for any combination of fruit (or at least all I’ve tried so far!)

Thanks Kristen, I loved it! If it sits for a while it gets a little soft and is great mixed with yogurt too!
