Chocolate Covered Football Strawberries

chocolate covered football strawberries

I have a super fast post today-I’ve been under the weather this week and haven’t finished the projects I had originally wanted to share but I did see the cutest little chocolate covered football strawberries at a local bakery lately and I knew I had to recreate them and share them with you all just in time for the playoffs and Super Bowl!

I coated my strawberries in melted Tollhouse dark chocolate chips and melted vanilla almond bark to draw the laces.

After the chocolate was on the strawberries I set them in the fridge for an hour or so to harden and that was that!  These literally disappeared in hours, my boys were so excited to see them when they got home from school yesterday!

I hope you all have a great weekend! If you’re looking for more football ideas be sure to check out my football round up, football mantel, Charleston Cheese Dip, Pigs in a Blanket 3 Ways, or DIY cornhole boards!

Melissa, I came over to check out how you made these football strawberries! They are as cute as can be! I am on the lookout for food items that I can make for an event that we’re having in the spring to honor our local football coach who is retiring. So, of course, our party will have a football theme. Thanks so much for sharing these!

Hey, great idea! You mentioned using a tool to draw the laces versus an icing bag. What kind of tool? I made a slew of football designed treats during college football season and any tips would be awesome, since tailgating isn’t always kitchen friendly!
