I love sangria (as evidenced by my Sparkling Strawberry Sangria and Rosé Sangria recipes) but over the years I’ve wanted to have an alcohol-free sangria option when entertaining especially.
Non alcoholic sangria is perfect for baby showers, brunches, or entertaining with family. I will often make a mock sangria for my kids to share if I have a grownup version made as well (clearly marked which is which of course!)
Why I Love Non Alcoholic Sangria
- dairy-free, gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan friendly
- fat free and low calorie
- easy to make
- sweet and refreshing!
Tips
- To make this sangria super easy I like to use frozen chopped fruit. As a bonus it also helps keep the sangria cold when you’re entertaining!
- Mix this non alcoholic sangria up just before serving so it doesn’t lose it’s carbonation
- If you want to prep ahead of time, mix everything except the soda and keep in the refrigerator. Add the soda just before serving.
- Garnish with mint and an orange slice for an extra special presentation!
Variations
- Use fresh fruit such as strawberries, blackberries, apples, orange slices, lemon slices, lime slices, mango, pineapple, the options are endless!
- Switch up the V8 Splash flavor
- Use sparkling water instead of lemon-lime soda
