I get asked a lot how I manage to blog while staying home with three little boys under age 7. The answer my friends lies in a super magical device I like to call…wait for it….my iPhone.
I am one of those really annoying people that is always on my phone. I try to curb it a bit around my hubby and the kids (although I’m the first to admit I’m not always successful) but honestly there is no way I could blog without my phone.

See that fancy schmancy picture I shared on the blog’s Facebook page? Did it from my iPhone!
Loving all those pins I’ve got going on on Pinterest…you guessed it-did it from my iPhone!
I don’t have huge blocks of time to sit at a computer so most of the time I do get in the evenings while my hubby watches tv I spend editing my blog photos and actually composing my posts. All the social aspects of blogging happen in tiny snippets of time from my phone-waiting in the car line to pick up my oldest from Kindergarten, standing in line at Walmart, sitting with my 1 year old in the evenings as he does to sleep…those are the times I can engage with my readers and share with you all.
All that being said-you obviously can understand how important my phone is for me. I’ve gone through three iPhones in the past four years. I used to hate keeping a case on my phone-my theory was why have such a sleek and sexy phone to put it in a big case? Yeah, until I took it out on fourth of July a few years ago and it fell flat on the concrete and shattered the screen. That pretty much converted me to an iPhone Case hoarder.
I have dropped my phone in the toilet, dropped it in a bowl of soup, had the baby take it and throw it at a wall, even caught my cat chewing on it but it still perseveres! I recently switched out my old case with a PureGear DualTek case and am loving it…it is sleek but oh-so-protective…I love that it has grips on the side so I’m less likely to drop it when pulling it out of it’s home in my back pocket (like my last phone) and it absorbs shock from falls up to 6 feet just in case I do manage to lose hold of it again!
You can visit PureGear to enter to win your own iPhone 5 and the iPhone line of DualTek cases! (I’ll be totally jealous if you win, I haven’t convinced my hubby to upgrade my phone to the iPhone 5 yet!!)
