Last October I was lucky enough to attend the Southern Blogger’s Conference in Raleigh and get a fantabulous swag bag when I got there. One of the treasures I received was a collection of fabric circles from Pick Your Plum. I tucked them away in a drawer and just this past week pulled them out and made this easy, cute ruffle hair clip that I just adore!
Here is how you can make these cute little hair pins:
I took two fabric circles and put them back to back so the fabric was facing outward. I then folded the circle in half and then again folded it in half. I used hot glue to secure the folds. Repeat three times. Then hot glue the three ruffles togethter then hot glue to a bobby pin blank clip. (You can find these clips in most jewelry sections at craft stores.)
I think it turned out super cute and {if I was a mommy of a little girl} I’d make them ALL the time-such a great use for fabric scraps!
