Gobble, gobble! Welcome to November-can you even believe it? This year has flown by! It is amazing to me that we’re already in the holiday season.
Yesterday I took down the Halloween decor and started prepping the house for Thanksgiving. I can’t help but be a little sentimental this time of year, thankful that we are one of the lucky military families that will be spending the holidays together this year…and looking back to this time last year when my husband was deployed.
That being said, I’ve been ambracing the holiday decorating and decided to make a simple little craft with my son recently. My four year old and I decided to make some festive little turkeys out of some materials we had on hand. I had some wood scraps in the garage and
since I can’t throw anything away we gave them a little makeover courtesy of some popsicle sticks and made ourselves some little gobblers.
Bonus: they make great placecard holders too!
Are you ready for Thanksgiving? Dare I say Christmas? I’ll be sharing some recipes a bit more than usual this month to get ready for Thanksgiving dinner and Christmas baking!
Thanks for stopping by!
