I was selected for this opportunity as a member of Clever Girls Collective, and the content and opinions expressed here are all my own.
Before I had kids Sunday brunches were one of my favorite times of the week. I loved doing crossword puzzles and chatting with friends over mimosas. Now that I have three little guys under 6 I barely get time to sit let alone go out to a leisurely brunch, so it’s nice to occasionally make my own “special” brunch at home.
When I received a Calphalon Unison Non-stick 10″ Omelet pan I knew that a yummy brunch was in my future. This pan is ah-mazing.
Seriously.
Not only is it perfect for omelets with its smooth nonstick surface, it also helps with cooking low-fat recipes without all the extra oils and fats which is a huge bonus for me. I made this delicious crabmeat omelet with brussel sprouts and hollandaise sauce in the same amount of time it would have taken me to make my standard scrambled eggs and bacon.
You can find my full recipe as well as a video (be kind!) over at Relish.com (pretty exciting-I love Relish and am so honored to be featured over there!) While you are over there you can enter to win some awesome prizes courtesy of Calphalon so be sure to enter, I’d love it if one of my readers won one of the prizes!
Over Thanksgiving I also had the chance to use the other pan I was lucky enough to receive-the Accucore Stainless Steel 3 quart Saute pan. It was also divine-the stainless steel layers around a copper core to eliminate hot spots-it’s also durable and versatile-two bonuses for me! My foodie step father uses nothing but Calphalon for his pans and I see why now- I have been really missing out in the pan department before receiving these!
Now that I’m officially a Calphalon convert I’m excited that they’ve launched a new initiative called “Your Set.” They are giving you the power to mix and match your own cookware sets from their two most popular lines-Unison and Accucore. You can customize Your Set to suit your cooking needs which is really just awesome to me. We don’t all cook the same things or have the same desires from our cookware, so why should we all have the same cookware sets? I invite you to hop over to www.calphalon.com/yourset and create your own set!
Thanks so much Calphalon for giving me the opportunity to try out this awesome cookware and share it with my readers!
Thanks for stopping by!
