Thanksgiving Inspiration from Hometalk

As I mentioned when sharing my blogging story last week, Hometalk is one of my new favorite places to hang out.  Its sort of like Pinterest for home and garden junkies with more community.  Fun stuff.  Anyways, with Halloween almost here my wheels have been turning thinking about switching up the decor to Thanksgiving later this week.  I decided to look at Hometalk for inspiration and boy, was there some amazing inspiration to be found!

I’ve been really drawn to the all white farmhouse/cottage styles lately (hello Thistlewood Farms and French Country Cottage!) and it seems I’m not the only one.  Take a look at these light and bright autumn decorations.

On the other hand, I know my husband is more traditional and my three boys love lots of color so I also had to save these beautiful, colorful decor ideas.

And there was no way I could go without sharing this absolutely amazing coffee filter wreath from RecapturedCharm….

Or this amazing tablescape from Celebrating Everyday Life that would be perfect for Thanksgiving. (And shows that perhaps I have an affinity for feathers right now?!)
