I love my apothecary jar-so easy to switch out the contents each season. The little jack o’lanterns inside are actually froma string of dollar store lights I purchased years ago. The ghost and pumpkin votive holders as well as the “Happy Halloween” blocks were purchased last year for 50% off from Target in November. The BOO sign is from this year’s Target Dollar Spot, it was originally hot pink but I gave it a coat of Oil Rubbed Bronze spray paint. (And that pedestal it’s on-an IKEA candlestick holder and upside down baby plate!) And last but not least, the black cheesecloth and orange spiders are dollar store finds!
I love decorating for Halloween now that the boys are old enough to get excited! Have you put your Halloween decor up yet?
Thanks for stopping by!

I love it!! You did a great job of spooking it up!!
Looks great! I like that is very well balanced and that it has a simple (but effective!) colour scheme!

Melissa your mantel is really cute! Yes I agree with Janel and LOVE the web- too cool!
I’ve been telling myself to get my butt in gear and Halloweenofy this place, but I just haven’t been into it! It might be because all of my fun stuff has some how mysteriously ended up in Kennedy’s room. Wish I had bought more on clearance last year like you! Then I’d have fun presents to play with when I opened up the box!

I love the simplicity of your mantle … now I just need a mantle!
I am with Keri on the mantle – lol. Love the versatility of your pieces and dollar store finds. I decorated an entry table recently. You can see it here:
