I knew exactly what I wanted to do when I saw the Dimensional Magic in my goodie box-a faux mosaic. And lets just say it took me a while!
- Mod Podge-I used Gloss
- Scrapbook Paper in various designs/colors to fit with your design
- Dimensional Magic
The process itself isn’t very complicated, just time consuming. sketched out my design on a piece of heavy cardstock and then cut various patterned scrapbook paper in the colors I wanted into small pieces. Working in small areas at a time, I used Gloss Mod Podge to adhere them to my base of cardstock.
This took a while. Like a long time. But I also have three kids and my house gets to be crazy-town at times so I had to work in 5-10 minute pockets.
After the entire design was assembled it was time for the fun part: adding the Dimensional Magic! I love this stuff! I added a thin layer over the entire “mosaic” being careful not to shake the bottle to avoid bubbles.
Then I let it dry for three hours and voila! Faux glass Halloween Mosaic!
I have a few more Halloween treats I made with Mod Podge coming up over the next few days so check back soon!
I wrote this post as part of a paid campaign with Mod Podge and Blueprint Social. The opinions in this post are, as always, my own.
