I’m here!
Some of you may have noticed that my posting was scarce last week, and there were a few reasons for that.
The good news is that Friday was my birthday-thirty-three years old and I think its going to be a great year! Saturday was also my seventh anniversary with my wonderful husband. Considering last year this time he was in Iraq I thought I’d take as much family time as I could this year!
The bad news was that family time took a turn for the worse for the three boys-my oldest and youngest both came down with pink eye, ear infections, and bronchitis. Yeah, no fun! My middle man somehow escaped only with a mild tummy bug and cold. So needless to say that date night to celebrate our anniversary was thrown out the window, along with pretty much any free time for me to wrap up the four hundred projects I have half-finished let alone photograph and post them!
But that’s life right? It happens and even though the boys were under the weather I’m thankful that we were all together this year.
Now the good stuff, as I hopefully get to photograph today some of the awesome projects I’ve been wanting to share with you-let’s try a monthly recap in case you missed any of September’s goodies! Here are a few highlights:
My husband likes to take credit for this Upcycled Chair to Side Table idea and y’all inflated his ego a bit with all the compliments! He now thinks he deserved his own monthly feature!
The chair side table got the addition of a new little clearance rack lamp who got a makeover.
We started decorating for fall with some coffee filter pumpkins and an autumn tablescape.
And last but not least I shared this simple Cinnamon Stick Candleholder-an easy project that smells delicious!
That’s just the tip of the iceberg of what I shared this past month so if you want to see more hop up to the Project Gallery tab on the menu bar and check out the rest!
I have a ton of great projects coming up to share-I’ll be back tomorrow with a beautiful Fall garland you can make with dollar store items, and Wednesday I’ll have some Halloween decor made with Mod Podge! Be sure to follow me on Facebook, Twitter, or sign up to receive my posts by email (over on the right sidebar) so you don’t miss a thing!
Thanks for stopping by!
