I don’t have the step by step photographed because as you can probably tell in the first pic, I was having some camera difficulties that day! It was super fast though-I just removed the top portion of the candle holder (it was held on with a dowel so it pulled right off!) then used Gorilla Glue to glue on a circular wood piece from the craft store. Once the glue was dry I spray painted the entire thing with white gloss spray paint. I chose not to distress it because I wanted to display it with my white IKEA candlesticks.
I love how it turned out and how well it matched my other white candle holders. The best part is the Pottery Barn candle holder cost $239 and mine was less than $10! Yay for upcycling!
