Remember this disaster area I shared with you a couple of weeks ago?
Well I finally got to work trying to create some semblance of order in my future work area in the garage. With the amount of DIY projects I have going on at any one time I need to have room to organize and grow so when I was making Jack’s American Flag Pegboard recently I went ahead and gave myself a little pegboard revamp for the garage.
I bought a large pegboard panel at Lowes for the project and they were kind enough to cut it for me (I could not have fit it in my van otherwise!) I painted the pegboard with Rustoleum Universal in Satin White. I love the Rustoleum Universal because it primes and paints all at once-one less step for me! I only wish it came in more colors! (hint, hint Rustoleum if you’re reading!)
After the White paint was dry I taped off a geometric design with masking tape.
A quick coat of Valspar Gloss Tropical Oasis followed and the results really brighten up the place! Check out my new improved work zone! Now I have plenty of room to organize (and my hubby is happy I won’t be digging through his workbench as much!)
I’m thinking about moving my Vintage Mirror turned Whiteboard out here to keep track of my projects-I don’t really use it as much as I thought I would in the laundry room.
In other news-I ordered some things to start on my Master Bedroom Makeover using my eDesign from Amber B Interiors. I also think I’m finally ready to tackle the Powder Room makeover so stay tuned for that as well!
Thanks for stopping by!

Thanks so much for sharing this at The Fun In Functional!
I love it! I just did mine (very similar to yours) in my garage workshop. I love the fact it is personalized just for me! Much better than plain old pegboard.. almost makes you NOT want to hang stuff up and cover the beauty! ;D

LOVE THIS!! You are seriously my inspiration! I LOOOOVE all of you DIY home bloggers but you have seriously nailed my ideas together that I’ve been so scatter brained about! This is happening for sure!
Thanks Lisa!!!!
How fun is that! I’m sure my husband would say “of course you found a way to make something that’s manly into something so…GIRLY”! haha, I’d love to have you come link it up at my Tutorial Tuesday Link Party http://www.ourthriftyideas.com/2012/07/hrefhttpwww.html
I’ve been using pegboard in my garage for years now. I grew up with my Dad using it on all his workbenches and still remember that he new immediately if something was missing. I do like the idea of putting a geometric pattern on the board!
