DIY Eye Candy

Its been a very busy weekend-I’m trying to prepare for my son to start Kindergarten tomorrow and finishing up some projects to share with you as well. I’m not quite ready to post what I’ve been working on but thought you’d enjoy these projects I’ve recently come across as inspiration this weekend:

Creative Carmella

I love the look of these canvases painted with none other than toilet paper rolls over at Creative Carmella. Its such a creative way to show off family pictures and you could customize the idea to match your decor!

I will craft…

I’m in love with this chippy framed succulent garden from I will Craft…  Succulents are a new obsession of mine and June hits the ball out of the park with her collection!

whatthegraham

If you’ve been around here for a while you know we have a thing for geography around these parts so you can imagine how amazed I am with this HUGE String Art project from What the Graham? It turned out so nicely! I’d love to try this but have no idea what state I’d even do it with since we move so much! Maybe the entire country? Or a world map version? Hmm…wheels are turning people, wheels are turning!

ScatteredThoughtsofaCraftyMom

Finally, these No Sew Drop Cloth Patio Curtains are high up on my to-do list now! Jamie from Scattered Thoughts of a Crafty Mom pulled this off perfectly-you have to go look at the details she shows from the rod fixture to the tie-backs.  With our new pool going in soon and my boy’s propensity for um, baring it all should we say, I really need something to increase the privacy of our patio from the side.  Thanks Jamie for this awesome idea!

I hope you all found these projects as inspiring as I did…please pop by to visit these blogs and leave some love. I’ll be back tomorrow with some great new organizing projects!

Thanks for stopping by!
