Quaker Soft Baked Bars-a new favorite snack

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Quaker Oats for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Not too long ago I joined Social Spark, a company that connects bloggers to advertisers and helps this lady over here earn a few extra dollars to finance all the projects I show on my blog.  Ninety-nine percent of the oppotunities I am presented with I have to turn down however because they aren’t applicable to my real life.  When I saw that Quaker was looking for bloggers to help introduce their new Quaker Soft Baked Bar however I had to jump on the chance to tell you all about them.

Why, you might ask, would I be so jazzed up about Quaker Soft Baked Bars? Well….let me tell you a bit about my middle son Nash.  He is the world’s Most. Picky. Eater. And he’s stubborn (I swear, he gets that from his Dad!)  Well, little Nash (who will be 4 next week!) loves him some cereal/snack/granola bars.  So if there is a new breakfast snack food out there I’m first in line to try it! Especially if its an actual wholesome food-we don’t do sugar-filled snacks over here (unless it’s an emergency-like this week’s kitchen remodel!!)

These treats aren’t just tasty, but are packed with:
• 140 calories
• 5g of Fiber
• 6g of Protein (Which is awesome since little man doesn’t eat meat!)
• Excellent source of 5 B-Vitamins

Any-who, I’m a big fan of snacks on the go as well-especilly when they are only 140 calories-so I’m very excited to try these new Soft Baked bars, they come in two flavors-Cinnamon Pecan Bread and Banana Nut Bread-and we all know I love Banana Bread too, so that’s probably going to be the family favorite…although Cinnamon Pecan is sounding pretty tasty too!

Do you have a picky eater? Let me know if you plan on trying Quaker’s new Soft Baked Bars, I know they’re going to be a new staple over here!

ooooh! These are pretty good. I have become an ingredient crazy woman…not to find things that are wholesome but to find things that don’t have apples in them. This is one of the only banana bars out there without apples in them. I’m a huge fan & thank them for not filling them with things that will send me to the ER.

I didn’t know that about the apples Jules! Interesting. I’m so glad to find something not overflowing with sugar that my kids will eat-and the protein is a huge bonus!
