If you are my husband stop reading now-sneak peek below!!!
Here are some super cute DIY Father’s Day gift ideas I have been pinning on Pinterest lately:

I saw this really cute photo idea on Pinterest and thought I would try it out for my husband for Father’s Day this year. (My pin does not link to a source so I can’t link to it with credit-if you’d like to see the original you can check out my photography board on Pinterest).
The original inspiration photo looks way better than mine but seriously, have you tried to keep two preschoolers and a baby still long enough for any photo let alone one with positioning requirements? Not to mention those little ticklish feet-it was a miracle I was able to even write the letters on the bottom with all the wriggling and squirming!!
I thought it’d be funny to take one of my own feet for my Dad but then I thought against it-this lady needs a pedicure and no one wants to see that!
Last year my husband was in Iraq for Father’s Day so I sent him this poster:
I ordered it from Paper Coterie which is an awesome site with various photo gifts. They have amazing designs and the posters and growth charts are printed on a fabric type paper that is very durable. Right now they have 60% off with the coupon code DADSDAY!
Last year we also made DIY Decorated Candles. That is always a cute project and so easy!
I also love the idea of a Photobook or Memory Book as a Father’s Day gift. I’m planning on making this one for my husband:

If there is one thing we learned from the last deployment, it is that kids change so quickly…why not preserve the memories? I especially love asking the kids questions and recording their answers-my boys say the silliest things, it would be so cute to look back and read their thoughts down the road.
What great DIY Father’s Day gifts do you have up your sleeve for this year? I’d love to hear about them-I’m always looking for new ideas and inspiration!
Have you entered my Jewelry Giveaway yet? It ends May 31st!
(In the interest of full disclosure-I am an affiliate of Paper Coterie, but all opinions are my own-I actively searched out their affiliate program because I purchase from them regularly and recommend them so highly!)

This is a great round up of gift ideas. I love the heart with all the pictures. Thanks for stopping by The NY Melrose Family and leaving such a sweet comment. I’m your newest follower. I host a weekly link party on Wednesdays and I’d love for you to join in.
Yeah, the heart with the pictures is my favorite. Please thank your husband for his service! Another thing to do, and maybe you already do, is to write down the funny, interesting, etc. things the kids do and say in a little book to keep for him and for you and the kids. It’s nearly impossible to remember them unless you write each one down. It would be such a great gift for him that will get even better with age. Even in the photo albums, it’s the unseen stuff (the story behind it) that makes some of the best memories later on. I found you at Manic Mondays. Hope you’ll stop in and see me at Quirky Vistas.
