Nursery Frame

So on Tuesday I showed you this picture I found for only $4 on Craigslist. I knew I wanted to try to make something out of it for the nursery so I took out the glass and horrendous horse picture (printed on foamboard!) and got to work on the frame.  I primed it and spray-painted it Antique White. Here is how it looks now in the nursery:

I hung it above the crib and added the little one’s name in wooden letters (99 cents at Hobby Lobby and 30% off this week!) that I painted with craft paint I had left over from this nursery alphabet project.  The pennant banner I made from paint chip cards, I’ll have more on that later.

I’m on the fence on this…I like it but something seems a bit off?  What do you think?  I wish my frame was wider, perhaps that would solve it? I’m open to suggestions!!

Thanks for stopping by!
