I have a confession. I have NOTHING done for the walls of the nursery yet. Honestly, I just assembled our old crib this week only to discover it is broken, so right now there isn’t even a crib! While looking through some files on my computer I found this old name frame I made for my niece that would be perfect for a little girl’s nursery (too bad we don’t have any little girls in our family-pink stuff is fun to make!).
I started off with a cheap frame from Walmart and added layered cardstock to form the background.
The chipboard letters are covered in patterned paper then painted with a thin layer of shimmer paint. I scrunched the ribbon to give some dimension. The scrapbooking mini-beads were hand threaded and then glued to line the interior of the frame. Easy-peasy, right??
I am thinking something like this (more masculine of course!) may be just the ticket for little Tommy’s nursery. What do you think?
